Transfers now approaching $4 million in scholarships

The Saddleback athletics department prides itself in getting athletes to the next level and once again the amount of money being awarded to its athletes in scholarships is approaching record numbers.  Saddleback is currently just under $4 million (estimate) in total awards for the 2025-26 calendar year, making it the second best year on record.

It is the third time in the past four years that Saddleback athletics has surpassed $3 million and the fourth time since the department started keeping records in 2010-11.

Saddleback currently stands at $3.925 (estimate) in scholarships awarded to its athletes.  Its success has been bolstered by a phenomenal year for the football program, which has had 36 athletes transfer out to four-year programs.

The top year on record was 2024-25 when Saddleback athletics estimated scholarship awards to be near $4.119 million.
