Cats eclipse 30 commits
Bobcats up to 31 total commitments for the offseason
The Saddleback football program is now over 30 commits to the four-year level after two more players from the 2025 team gave a commitment this past week. Freshmen Kyle Nguyen and James Joppru were added to list, which now stands at 31.
Nguyen committed to Campbell University, located in Buies Creek, North Carolina. The Camels play an NCAA D1 schedule within the Big South Conference.
Nguyen played in nine games as a freshman, finishing with eight total tackles and tying for the team lead with two interceptions.
Joppru committed to Weber State University, located in Ogden, Utah. The Wildcats play an NCAA D1 schedule within the Big Sky Conference.
Joppru played in 11 games this past season, finishing with six total tackles and one sack.
Nguyen and Joppru give the Bobcats 31 commitments to four-year schools for the off-season, including 25 players that landed at D1 programs and 16 that were freshmen this past season.
