Cats to open playoffs at Citrus

The Saddleback softball team will open the 2026 3C2A Southern California Regional Tournament on Friday at Citrus College in Glendora. The Bobcats and Owls will play a 2-of-3 series to advance to the regional finals.
Saddleback was named the No. 11 seed for the upcoming playoffs after winning the Orange Empire Conference. The Bobcats were 28-12 overall and 16-5 in Orange Empire Conference play.
Citrus earned the No. 6 seed after finishing 27-13 overall and in third place in the Western State Conference South Division (7-5).
Saddleback and Citrus faced each other twice this season, with Citrus winning the opening game (10-2) on February 3 and Saddleback winning the second game (5-4) on February 10.
Saddleback and Citrus will open the best-of-three series on Friday at 5:00 PM. Game two is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday with a third game scheduled to be played following, if necessary.
